Yo

Im using the free version of Musink to compose music and want it to play back thru multiple VSTs/MIDI devices.

It sends all the instruments out to one MIDI device on different channels. e.g. Gat to channel 1, bass to channel 2 etc. Its been awsum so far wif stuff they suggested in their help but now I wanna try sending it to more than one device.

Is there a MIDI splitter or something that could take MIDI from Musink, then split it up and send each channel to a different VST/MIDI device? like so my gat got sent to one device, then my bass got sent to another?
Something free would be awesum.:guitar:

If I understand your question, and I think I do, you are allowed to place the same insrument on mjultiple channels and have them play different parts, riffs, whatever.

Let't take whatever synth you're using for your bass. You can layer two patches to get a fatter sound by making another track, inserting the same instrument on it with a different patch and copying the midi data to the second track.

Rereading your post, you may be talking about hardware synths. In that case, record the output of the synth to a track. Then you will free up the synth to be used a second time.

Hi ssscientist.
Sorry for the delay. Im stil gettin used to making sure I click subscribe on threads!

I mean when Musink plays stuff back, it sends ALL MIDI info to ONE MIDI device. Each stave is on a different channel. e.g. drums on channel 10, and guitar on channel 1. You can choose whateva MIDI device you want (Hardware/software) but only to one device.

Musink ==> MIDI Device (Gets all channels)

Usually this is fine but I wanna send the MIDI to a splitter that splits up the midi by channel and sends it to lots of devices like this

Musink==> Channel Splitter ==> MIDI Device 1 (gets channel 1)

==> MIDI Device 2 (gets channel 2)
==> MIDI Device 3 (gets channel 3)
etc.

Is there a channel splitter like this that can be downloaded from newhere? I have Windows 7.
