Nice tune. I really like the voice. Fits nicely. I only have a little boom box to listen on right now, so my critique isn't worth much. Sounds very good here though. I really dig the whole thing.

were the acoustics done direct? was it all done live? were most/all mics dynamic?.

it sounds good for the gear you had. i would have liked to hear a bit more out of the kick and a little livlier bass. maybe a little eq and compression coulda helped the bass. i liked the snare for what you had.

You have a great set of ears man...
The acoustic is into a Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 then line out to a DI box then into a Mackie Onyx...to a 10/10 then into AA1.5..
and yeah...all dynamics...
we were just trying to get drums and we were gonna layer new mic-ed tracks later so...yeah...it was live except for the bass....we were all in different rooms with cans and even video so that we could see each other...
Ulli the singer was monitoring on cans and sitting in the control room...her track is a sm 58...the kit had six sm 57s in a conventional config....

the band broke upo shortly after this session...we are keeping most of the tunes but, we will need to re-record it all...with proper mics for the drums, ....mic-ed cabs...and a condensor on the vox...
