Well.... i did a mix of the song... the record was not good so, i had to use EQ.... and my final mix has a strange middle/high-middle freqüency that makes the sound.. well... i don't know how to define.... there's no way to i send you a MP3 ?

Well.... i want to know if it's possible to change this sound on the mastering (i will do it too..... don't know how).... i will try to EQ next song with less high-middle....

There's no free software that i can monitor my sound (file or board) that shows me the audio spectrum ?

I need someone to hear this to say me wich freqüency brings that ugly sound !

Thanks !!!

I posted a link with a bunch of free spectrum analyzers on it a few months back... if you look hard enough you'll find it.

WinAmp (a popular MP3 player that also palys WAVs and audio CDs) has a rather nice spectrum analyzer which is adjustable. (refresh rate, falloff, etc.)

It can also be changed to an oscilloscope.

If you happen to be using Sonar, mail me the bunch file and I'll see what I can do to the mix.

I use Cakewalk... i can open the track file as wave, right ?
