What would a Subcardioid microphone be?

A sub-cardioid or hypo-cardioid is often called a "wide-cardioid" and is the pattern half way between cardioid and omni.

I am going to lobby Mr. Willett to recognize two patterns between omni and cardioid, as there are two patterns between cardioid and bidirectional (super and hyper): subcardioid and ovoid
