Microphone modeling (like Line 6 type modeling, not an SM57 in a bikini modeling)

And for the record that's a wow do people actually believe that this is even close to a substitute for owning a mic collection like a modeling guitar being a genuine substitute for a vintage Les Paul sort of wow.

you have to tell it what mic you're using.

this is old news and has been met with mixed results.
try a search on mic modeling.
(or modelers, or something allong that line)

products like this are aimed at people who really don't know the difference. if you think that a plug-in can replace a $50,000 mic cabinet, you're insane. you can't ADD information that wasn't there in the first place. you can augment the data in such a way that takes on some characteristics, but that's not what a microphone does.
