All I can say is the Micron is LOADED with sounds, and room for much more. I love mine. The vocoder isn't so hot... But the capability of this little machine is incredible.

im a bigger fan of the microkorg....idk if youve checked that out...i think its easier to use...just my opinion...i know people say they like the micron better...but ive heard the microkorg has a better vocoder....not sure if you care about that or not....i just always found it easier to get better sounds outta the microkorg then then micron.

I used to own a MicroKorg before getting the Micron. I agree that the MicroKorg vocoder is better. Or let's just say it's much easier to get intelligibility out of it... The Micron's 40-band vocoder should blow an 8-band out of the water -- but no one I know has yet gotten it to sound like a 40-band.

The keys on the Micron are full-size, it has 500 presets, Rhythms, Arp Patterns, and Setups that make it incredibly valuable. I'm getting great results with mine. I prefer the editing matrix on the Micron.

The Korg is really an instant classic though, and as soon as they stop making them, the price will probably climb through the roof.
