A friend sent me THIS LINK which gives three instructional videos of techniques to use when using a mic for live vocals. There's some useful info there for anyone doing any live gigging.

Thanks; it's loading rather slowly for me, but I'm sure it will help.

I'll probably end up sending it to anyone I sing with... They love to point the mics at the monitors, and one girl thought a dent in an SM58 was supposed to be where your chin goes.

Edit: After watching the videos, I'm not quite sure how useful they will be for a performer... They can't hurt though.
