I looked everywhere before signing up and couldn't find anything regarding the issue I'm currently having, so if there is already a solution, feel free to just direct me towards.
I just purchased an ART M-three condenser mic today. I've got it hooked up to a PreSonus Firestudio Mobile using an XLR cable and my Firestudio Mobile is connected to my Window 7 PC using firewire. I have my Phantom Power turned on, but I still can't get the mic to work. Its supposed to light up, but it doesn't even do that. When I connect my guitar to the Firestudio, it works fine. Its just my mic. I've spent hours trying to find help online, and trying to get friends who might know what they are doing to help out, but I have made no progress at all. Would anyone know what I could do to solve this problem? Is it just a faulty mic?
