In your own opinions which would you say is a better pre amp for vocal recordings and what one would you more likely buy?

The Focusrite Platinum Voice Master Pro

or

The TLA Ivory 5051

I've owned a Focusrite penta (same 'platinum' range) and a TL Audio 5050 (same ivory series' range).

They were both much of a muchness sound wise, both decent but nothing to get excited about.

I'd buy the one you can get the better deal on (in the UK the focusrite is a fair bit cheaper) or the one which has more of the features that you need.
