Mic Preamp in soundcards

Ok...thanks for your comments on the headphones/POD issue.I think its time for a new card,do these prosumer cards have decent mic pres in em?Do soundcards with mic preamps even exist?

Check out Aardvark and ST Audio. Your other choice would be to buy a mixer and then get a soundcard with just 1/4' inputs.
