Mic Pre

I got a akg c3000b mic and Im planning on getting mbox 2 with pro tools le 7...what mic pre should I get..do I need one with Mbox 2?

The MBOX2 comes with two mic pre's already. These are not the best mic pre's in the world, but they're not the worst either. I'd suggest just trying them out, and seeing if you like the way they sound. I use an mbox2, and I think the mic pres in it are just fine.

Definitely try the mbox 2 preamps first. You will probably want another mic before you will want another preamp.
