Mic leads

Hi

I've got a Eutroack UB1002 mixing desk linked to my computer which I use for recording guitars and bass with Cubase. Today I bought a Shure XC58 mic and boom stand to mic up my Marshall VS100 combo, and I'm pleased with the sound.

The lead I bought is a '3 pin' to guitar type connection. When I got the lead home I remembered that the mixing board also has the 3 pin connection. My question is should I be utilising the 3 pin type input on my mixing desk, would it give me a better sound?

by 3 pin you mean XLR??? if so..yeah..itd give you the best sound and is a standard...3 pin??? :confused:

the "3-pin" input is an XLR microphone input and should be used anytime a mic is plugged in to your mixer. The guitar cord connector is called a quarter inch.
