its a vocal mic, not an instrumental mic, any idea?

There's more than one way to skin that cat. Acoustic guitar can be mic'd with 1 or 2 small diaphagm mics, 1 large diaphragm mic, one of each, or a ribbon mic. It's a matter of taste and budget. Give us some idea of your budget, because the answer to your question runs from $50 to several thousand. Also, do you have phantom power? You will need a preamp or a mixer. For dirt cheap, I like Oktava MC012's or Marshall MXL603's, in pairs, or one Studio Projects B-1. For a little more, I like AKG C2000B. In the up to $500 range, consider a pair of Studio Projects C-4's or one Rode NTK, also a very nice vocal mic. What I really like? AKG C414B-ULS, just one on the 12th fret. I have more expensive mics, but nothing I'd rather use on acoustic guitar.-Richie

budget is $150
I want shure brands...
Is Shure SM57 good for acoustic guitars?

why do you care if its shure?

and no, an sm57 is not an ideal mic for acoustic guitar by any means. do you have a phantom power source for a condensor mic?

actually i have only 1 mic (shure SM58 for vocal with roland mmp-2 preamp) i tried recording vocal and is great but when i tried recording guitar, i dont get what i want......
and ive never use a condenser and a phantom power , whats a phantom power anyway

ok any brands would be good unless its way below $150

You could get an SM81. Those are pretty decent. And they'e Shure.

I would suggest an Audio Technica Pro37 mini-condensor mic. You will need a pre-amp or mixer with phantom power. What is phanton power? It is what supplies your condensor mic with power, wither via a switch on the mixer or on the pre-amp. You can get an inexpensive tube pre-amp from Behringer that sounds pretty good with the Pro37:

AT Pro37 - $139
Behringer Tube Pre-Amp - $100

Is Shure SM57 good for acoustic guitars?

A long, long time ago I tried recording an acoustic guitar and had no luck. I think it sucks for acoustic guitars, personally.

A 57 can be ok depending on the kind of guitar used, the playing style, the preamp used, the voice required for a particular song, etc. It can be good. It can be bad.

If you want to know how an SM57 will sound on an acoustic, screw the ball off the end of your SM58 and try that, they're basically the same mic. I don't think it's a particularly good guitar mic.
Phantom power is a 48 volt (generally) charge that is sent back up the mic cable by a preamp or mixer to power a condenser mic.
Although there are exceptions, most recording engineers prefer condensers to dynamics for recording acoustic guitar.
The closest thing in the Shure line to your budget is KSM109, $179.99 at Musician's Friend, but you'd be better off, in my opinion, with a pair of Marshall MXL603's, $160 a pair, or Oktava MC012's, $100-$140 a pair at Guitar Center, depending on how fast you talk.
But, you have to have phantom power. The question is- what are you plugging these mics into? If you have a mixer or a mic preamp, you most likely have phanrom power. That will be a button that says "48v".-Richie
