I purchased a couple of In line Audio Mic combiners. When I connect them there's a lot of Hum on the output. Hum can be reduced but not eliminated by moving the combiner boxes around.
I was hoping to use it to split the microphones bettween a small PA and recording mixer.
Are transformer splitters like these prone to hum or noise?
Is there anything that can be done to minimize it?
