Mic choice

1st one sounds a bit wooly, could use a bit more hi mids, or maybe backed off a bit would lean it out- Not that there's too much weight or 'size (below wooly') But maybe again I've been a little to sensitive to '100-200' lately.. :D

#2 is trim in comparison -maybe on a bit on the thin side. Might fit well in a more dense setting though. What happens if you get closer to #2..?
That one has (or shows?) a sharp ring up around 3 or 4k. Your voice, or the mic?

As for #1.. I was told by a wise voc instructor once- No mater how soft.. it has got to be interesting. He meant focus'.
If (if..) you had a bit more focus/energy going your vocal would likely not be setting so much in that soft place. (This is not just a volume/how loud you sing thing..)
Given that, #1 might just fall right into place.

Thanks for the reply. Mic 1-AKG c214 , Mic 2-Apogee one internal mic
So here is another clip, with 2 of the same mics as before plus 3 others.
I got a bit closer to the Apogee to see if it makes a difference.
Let me know out of these which works best with my voice. http://www.box.com/s/pg2pkmo0u6dnc1sv5l77
