Would it be ok if I hook up a standard dynamic mic into my guitar amp? (GX-60C Crate).

when you say hook up a mic to your amp... you mean through XLR connections or placing the mic infront of the amp??.... anyway from what i know Dynamic mics are supposed to be used to mic guitar amps, Condenser mics are used for Vocals :)

I am talking about through the lil input jack in the front of the amp.. the connection from the mic to the amp is the standard instrument cable... not MIDI or anything.. I don't know what XLR is though...

yea that would work, it wouldnt have tje best sound though, its not meant for that

so it'll be ok?

So there isn't like any harm in frying my mic or anything? Its a 60 watt amp I think... its a guitar amp..
