metronome problems

im using the m-audio axiom 49 sonar 3 and dimension pro... so far its working nicely, however I have NO idea how to get the metronome to work and I absolutely need it at the moment. I have it set on, I just have no idea... please please please help me

It could be any number of things, from a serious system problem to a simple switch flipped the wrong way.

My advice is to build your own metronome track with a hihat sample.

Four clicks to the bar and cut and paste it for the length of the song --- instant metronome. And if you do it in a midi track it will follow the tempo of the song should you decide to slow it down or speed it up.
