hey, all. I've done a search in this forum, and can't find anything addressing this problem. Can I change the metronome beats from quarter notes to eighth notes in Sonar? So far, I don't see how this can be done. Also, while I'm at it, how do I record my session drummer patterns? Do they show up as MIDI tracks? Thanks for any info.

if i'm not mistaken, you can save a sequence of session drummer patterns as a song file in session drummer, or record the midi to a midi track, or as audio to an audio track or tracks....i haven't tried to use the metronome.

Hi there!

Don't think you can change the metronome from quarters to eights, but you can make a drumpattern with hihat playing eights. Don't know if that's the sollution you're looking for...

The Session Drummer can be added with the "Apply MIDI Effects" option under the Edit-menu. Simple as that...

Can't do it. However:

If your tempo is 100, make it 200. You will then have 8th notes from the metronome.
