Yeah, man...I guess you mean using drum machines and playing all of the tracks yourself "the trent reznor way". Im kinda doing the one man band in the studio thing. My own style is closer to the White Zombie-Korn type of thing. Death metal meets hip-hop-industrial-punk. Im new to the whole PC based studio set-up but Im learning fast due in part to this website. Im a vocalist/guitarist whose band recently fell apart so I decided to put together a home studio, work with a drum machine, and basically do everything myself. Got kinda tired of having to compromise my music due to the lack of other peoples ability to understand it. The only downfall to this path is the inability to perform live shows, but these days no one wants to support local underground ORIGINAL music anyway.
