Sound good. The parts where the guitar is doing the 16th or 32nd notes or what ever they are sounds almost dizzying. It's multiple takes panned correct?

I like the guitar tone. Is that the Cobra? I'm still debating whether I want to go back to regular amps or just stick with my Line 6 gear. I was looking at a Carvin V3.

MonkeyManx thanks for listening.

I think it is 16th note triplets (Don't hold me to that though) I just play, I wouldn't pass a music theory class to save my life. It is two rhythm guitars in that section. One panned hard left and one panned hard right.

I like the guitar tone. Is that the Cobra?

The rhythms are actually my Mesa Nomad 45 head through a marshall jcm lead 900 1960 4x12 cab. I scooped the mids a little more than I normally would to try and get a more edgy tone for this material. The leads were done with my Framus.

thanks again for the feedback.

Nice man....that's some pretty cool playing...

I think it sounds really good. The bass seems a bit hidden, as I only hear it sometimes....I wouldn't mind hearing it up a db or two....

The guitars are very cool...nice playing there...very clean. :D

Wow....that was really fast.

Everything sounds really crisp and clean to me.

Dogman thanks for the feedback. The bass was the main reason I decided to post this one. I was initially having a lot of trouble with the high notes being much louder than the low notes. I hit it with some multi band compression and it seemed to help but now I am having trouble settling on an overall volume.

Ezchair thanks for the listen. The speed is pretty tame for this genre and admittedly a weak spot in my playing. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun trying to keep things clean and consistent.

Nice work. I really like this. The scratchy guitar is really easy on the ear and it doesn't really sound like anything else I've heard of late.

:D

Dual harmonizing guitars haven't been mentioned - well done there! My wrist hurts listening to the speedy rhythm :D. Still need the vocals to really get the final mix, however, this mix stands up nicely so far...

Hot playing. Interesting arrangement. Mix is a little strong in the upper mids. I'd prefer more low mids from the guitars. The acoustic gtr bit is a nice touch.

Sounds excellent...nice guitar work and a nice sound quality through the whole song...nice job...

PJ thanks for the listen.

IDO 1957 thanks for checking out the track. Glad you commented on the harmonies. There is actually a few places where I have moog and arp synth sounds doubling the guitar lead along with guitar harmonies.

XLR thanks for checking out the tune. I cut a lot of the low mids in the guitar to try and help the bass come through. I may have gone overboard.

D Vincent thanks for the feedback. Glad you dug it!

Hmmmm.......

Nice playing. Them soloes in particular.

The tempo don't quite justify as blackmetal. :D
there and there with Death-metal, with all those melodies,
no growling... The opening is definetly somewhere on thrash-country,
melodic parts on Dreamtheater-genre. ..maybe Opeth...
The part at 1.54, the fastest, can be heard the rhythm-guitars barely making it on sync.
At 4:02, the part closest to blackmetal, that's actually quite nice!

Jouni- Thanks for listening. I didn't bother changing the genre on soundclick so that is why the song is listed under black/death. While I have a lot of influences within those genres, I was not trying to place this particular song within them.

I couldn't wait for the lead work to strat - I'm not into the scrub riff think for more than a few moments.
The bass has good definition if not enough vol.
The tin lid bass drum is pretty fast.
Cool lead work, nice harmonies - some parts were very Thin Lizzy.
Good work.
