No that isn't me on vocals, it is our vocalist. I just play guitar and do backup vocals rarely. No one has ever compared TJ to Max, i always thought a bit more like Phil. The drums seem to bug a lot of folks, maybe i'll try a little something with the snare. And thin the guitars a little. Thanks for listening.

Vocals sound more like mudwaine, but I hate Mallcore anyway...
The guitar sound is not bad, but should have more high end, but I'm not a mallcore fan so... you shouldn't take my oppinion seriously, but try boosting a little bit of high frequencies, cutting some mids, and leave the lows.

I'll post some of our other songs, we are more in the style of Pantera, and Slayer...i take extreme offense to the Mallcore comment! ADCH was just flirting with the ideas of newer music. But thanks for listening anyway.

Can someone explain what "mallcore" is?
I mean, I know 'spooky core' (like Korn and Coal Chamber)
I know rap-core (like Urban Dance Squad and RATM)
I know hard-core (both the metal-punk related one and the fast house/dance related one)
but what the hell is mall-core?

commercial nu metal best describes mallcore.... bands like soulfly, kittie, slipknot, mudvayne... borderline mainstream heavy bands that raelly arent good at all... pseudo metal bands

For the record Mudvayne, and Slipknot are very talented. And my opinion of mallcore is Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Hoobastank. And although i don't particularly care for that style of music,, it doesn't mean that the bands are talentless. My band is a metal band.pointfuckingblank. No bullshit labels!!! Now i have to post some of our extreme stuff. Mallcore...what the fuck! Sorry for my irritation at this but i am in self defense mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soulfly is mallcore? I've never even heard of mallcore before this, but I have a hard time accepting that.
