Metal dude
I needed a break from working on original stuff, so i came accross the tabulature in a book, and layed down some tracks. Mostly to get more familar with the program.(plugins/automation, etc)

This is not my best playing (i had to read the tab while tracking), but i figured ill post it here for shits & giggles. Nothing fancy, no eq or compression, just some verb on main melody guitar.
All guitars via zoom GM-200 direct thingy.

 (shame...lol)

I enjoyed that man. You did a good job with it. The mix could be a little fatter. It was a bit bottom light but it works. Lotsa crashing brass up front. Would make a very good prelude.

Did I say prelude? lol! check out JSab's 4th prelude for unaccompanied cello. IT`s sweet.

ok the first thing you need to do is fire thats electronic drummer. The guitars and the drums are off beat. Besides that I think Bach would like it.

Nice playing, especially reading from tab! I could never do that.

Mix is kinda brittle. Ditto the drum comments (drum bigot in effect):D

My favorite interpretations of Bach are by Glenn Gould. Check him out sometime if you get the chance.

someday........

I should put some time into this, and lock the guitars with better drums.
M.Brane: Yeah theres no nothing but verb on the melody guitar, just "lay down track" and thats it. Thin sounding mix. My direct thingy does not even compare to my mesa recto.

tjohnston: lol, i spent a hole 10 minutes with the drum machine, it kinda worked , so....i said " lets track", i was drinking right after work one day. Just messing around.

Toki987: thanks man, when i listen to it , it sounds better when i have a couple of drinks in me(like right know!)

Thanks for listening, thou i butcherd bach's piece, it was a way to release the stress of my 9.5 hr work day. I gotta put this on my list to "record a good version, that sounds good when im sober". Also show's me.........GET YOUR ARSE GOING AND PRACTICE YOUR GUITAR. I think sometimes i get wraped up with the drums and forget about the ol 7 stringer.
