Hey guys, I posted here before about drum mic issues. Now, I'm having another stupid issue, and this ones getting on my nerves!

Okay, so I have Cubase 5.1 and Melodyne Studio 3.2.2. I transfer my audio tracks into Melodyne for vocal, and low and behold, another problem! lol. (I couldn't find a proper topic area and this seems to be a retarded question anyways) I can edit and do EVERYTHING else to my track, but... i can't... Play it! It won't play in Melodyne for the life of me, and when I send it back to Cubase, I only get this weird distorted noise, and that's it...

Any ideas?

I've looked everywhere... Melodyne seems to really have no help for any issues like this...

can you play the audio file saved from cubase in windows media player or does it still sound distorted that way?

Yes, and if your familier with Melodyne, youll know that the program makes a audio file of the track your working with. I can play that in media player as well with no issues :(

Try to reload melodyne, maybe something is corrupted. Check the volume setting isn't to low. Be sure to go through the preferences and verify all settings. Other than that...

If it helps any, when i click play, the bar to go across to get and play the sound doesnt even go, and the timer doesn't start. But I'll try to reinstall it I guess.

Edit: New development! I believe it's not melodyne, because it played the sample track when I reinstalled it, but it still wouldnt play my transfer file! Maybe it's cubase? When I sample what the playback and everythings going to be like in the melodyne bridge plugin, it go ins fine, but when I hear the playback from the transfer into cubase, it sounds all jacked up and stuff...

I think somehow along the way through transfer the file gets corrupt or something? Or maybe I'm doing this wrong somehow...
