mega bass sweep/hit w/o sample?

Im looking for a way to create one of the pounding 'hook' bass explosions in newer emo/rock/metal recordings w/o using a sample...(you know...where everything else kinda sounds almost attenuated - the kinda thing that would shake ur pants off in a car w/ a good system) is this possible? any techniques w/ a combination actual drums and plug ins? ( aka eq, etc)i dont have midi, so triggers are out of the question.
could someone possibably send me an isolated one in wav or aiff format?
