Anyone know where I can order or even download (pdf?) a copy of the sony mdm-x4 mkii manual?

If you can't find it on the web, post here and I can photocopy and mail the instruction manual pages for you. I wouldn't want to try to run mine without the manual!

Thanks for the offer! I'm almost positive it used to be available for download as a PDF file, but that was probably only on sony's site and they've since abandoned the unit almost completely (you can still get the firmware upgrade for the mki, yippe! but thats about it) so ahhwell. I'll let you know if I need it, but for now I'll continue the search...

What's the "firmware upgrade" for the MDM X4 mk I? Is it of any use to Mk II owners?

Its a little replacement bit that fixes loads of errors and bugs in the MKI's software (upgrades it to v1.30) - as far as I know it was released well before the MKII so the MKII should have no need for it.

Folks, I sold the MDM-X4 a few years ago, and I don't have the manual, so please don't write me any longer.
