Mbox mini to Record Player Mod

I am trying to hook my record player up to my Mbox mini (temporarily) but do not know where i can ground the wire in the record player! i saw a guy open up the mbox, is that the only way?

Unless that turntable has a built-in preamp, the M-box's probably will not deliver a good signal for recording.

You will need a phono preamp in-between the turntable and the mbox

Yup. You'll need an RIAA preamp for that record player.

You can pick them up pretty cheap. I had to buy one when I changed receivers. Since I had never seen a receiver without a ground, I never thought about it, until my current receiver.
