MBOX help............!!

okay, I have a mbox 1 and I just recently purchased compressor gate.....dbx 266......I"m tryna hook up the external compressor to the mbox......the directions arent very clear on how to connect this.....this is the place where the experts are.....hELP!!!!!
 
purchase an insert (Y) cable...plug the one side of the cable into the mbox and the other two ends to the ins and outs of the compressor.
Use an Insert in PT to send the signal out to the compressor.

Damn, thats where I fucked up, I was usin the shit wit Cubase.....can it do the same for cubase LE????

i don't use Cubase...but I would assume so. Maybe someone else can clarify
