I have a laptop with windows XP, and I read that the minimun requirements for ram is 512mb. If I try the mbox with only 256mb, will it refuse to work, or is it only a performance/speed issue?
Also, I am a bit on the fence about getting the mbox. I want it to record a piano, and maybe expand a bit later with a string quartet (is it possible with 2 outputs?). What type of quality should i aspect? Will it be clear, and near a studio recording for a piano?
What is the best mic setup for a piano- would just a condenser mic be fine, or do I need a dynamic mic as well? Thanks!
