well the pros are it lets you use Pro Tools. The cons are it's slightly pricey for the number of input/outputs that you get when compared to other interfaces currently on the market.

Does Pro Tools version LE 7.4 work with Vista Home Premium?

yes, Vista is now supported by 7.4, however it is a bit of a cumbersome, power-hungry beast. There are a number of tweaks that can be done to reduce this however.
