Hey Guys, hoping someone tech minded can help me out...Yes this is a copy of another thread, i'm just wondering if anyone will read it in the other forum hmm...

I'm using Skype to broadcast from home and elsewhere through a good mic, and quality is relatively good. Sounds clear through the other side and it's to the point where I want to use two microphones. I'm using an Mbox 2 Mini to power everything up.

Input One [1] works fine, that's with the XLR Socket and i've got an RE-20 hooked up to that.

Input Two [2] has its own microphone set up, and it too works at times. However, the other side can only hear Input 1.

Is there a way that allows both inputs to be recognised and sent back to the computer receiving all this? Cause i'm quite stuck.

Basically they can hear the RE-20, but not the other Mic, but I can hear it through the Headphone Jack at the front.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

what software are you using? The Mbox2 mini only has one mic preamp in it. what mic are you using for mic #2? XLR to 1/4? You can reply to this or hit me up at work, either way works for me....and sign up for the mic locker giveaway, there's probably a link somewhere on the forum to it!

Wow thanks for the fast reply!

Ok so i'm using a Mac and using Pro Tools...but I don't have Pro Tools opened.

The RE-20 with the XLR connection has the pre-amp...the other mic [don't know who makes it], is still powered up [through the XLR to 1.4inch Jack] and you can hear it..just isn't transmitted to the person on the other end.

Odd if you ask me because it's like...hearable but just not..transmittable? I was thinking maybe the levels were cutting it off, but it doesn't seem to be that. It's killing me to be honest, so close in getting two microphones going at once for an audience and the relay from the studio through Skype! :(

Sorry for my question...but what is the mic locker giveaway? I'm not cluey, haven't been round here for a while!
