MBox 2 - 4 inputs?

with the MBox2, I read somewhere that you can have 4 simultaneous inputs with this ... I was wondering if this is actually possible, and how I would go about accomplishing this if it were... thanks

two analog inputs via XLR-1/4"
two digital inputs S/PDIF coax

you will need a 2 channel preamp with spdif out.

here is a list of pres, anything with spdif out will work. i have a digital mpa and i like it....
