I have read amazing reviews on this card. It all soudns very good to me, and high quality. But I am very new to hmoe recording.
Here is some information I got after inquiring about teh card, and also got it compared to the Soundblaster live.

The Isis comes with 4mb of sample ram on board upgradable to 32mb of ram using stadard 72 pin EDo ram. These sounds are MIDI sounds with very high quality and come with fantastic editing software. They do not use the CPU in any way.

The external rack which comes with the ISIS gives you the option of recording up to 8 channels at the same time, the live only lets you record 2. The converters are 20bit with better Dynamic range then the Live.

The software which is included with the ISIS is the real killer here.

LOGIC AUDIO PRO ISIS- Proffesional (this program is normally over $500) recording software. 16 audio tracks 64 midi tracks, real time effects, effects plugins, 3 band parametric EQ.

ACID DJ- Loop based audio programing

Cool Edit Pro LE:- 10 track recording software with high end egiting capability.

PS. There have been many proffesional CD made with the ISIS. Ch. 7 uses the ISIS, CH 10 Uses the ISIS, around 25 radio stations use the ISIS.

The ISIS has 512 instruments, it is 64 voice MIDI ( unlimited voices through WAVE), it can have a maximum of 32MB of ram on the card itself (WAVE limited by your HD), it uses 20bit converters not 16bit, and uses an external ADC DAC with Cyrrus Logic Chips for High quality low noise recording.

You can check it out at http://www.sound-music.com

Please Note. I am not trying to advertise this card, I am just trying to find out if the card would suit me. I would like to do, high quality recording, on my computer at home. I would use the box, to plug in mics, and mic my amp, and record my guitar, and record vocals, bass. ect. I would most likely use a drum machine on my computer, due to my drum skills being low.
I hope you can help, thankyou.

Your sincerely,
Tom Foreman

I own one of them and it's been pretty good!!
A few guys around here own one...some like em some love em..
Ofcourse it is not as good as a full pro card. but for the price It is quite good..Dave b logic audio FandQpage says a few things about it as well. and daveB likes it..I'm in oz and it is one of the cheaper ones around here the rest tend to take a big jump in price..

I saw them for sale a while ago. Seems like it was tracertek.com and the price was a skimpy $279. If these actually sound good I am thinking of getting one and jumping into computer recording (as compared to my Korg d16). One of these and n-track for software and you are good to go and not too much dough.
