I posted Matt's Boogie in the MP3 forum and received little feedback... and since I've made a change that's Guitar related, I thought I'd post it here...

I treated the Lead Guitars with Vintage Warmer to make them abit more in your face...

Click here for both Matt's Boogie VW

Give both a listen and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

I don't know what the original sounded like, but the guitar tones sound pretty sweet in this version....

The 609 is nice and grizzly.
The SM57 seems to be lacking tone.
The md421 has better tone, but has a slight hiss im guessing at 5K. A small cut could fix this.
They all sound good, but the SM57 is definetly the worst sounding one. suprising.
Did you use the exact same micing position for them or did you try and find the best place for each mic?
