"MASTERING"

Since I've learned I do not have the capability to actually master anything, I have decided when I refer to the process which I used to use the above word to describe, I will now refer to it as "final mixdown", since that is, in effect, what I am doing since I have not sent any materiel to be mastered at a proper facility and do not have the resources to actually master.
I figure this was the big boys won't be angry at me for demeaning their process by calling what I do mastering...cause it's not. It's a final mix down.

I hear you Hard2Hear. I chose to employ the term "master" (note the subtle quotation marks) in hopes of avoiding the ire of those who may have dangerously elevated blood pressure. A hemorrhage is never pretty...
