I'm sitting on about 20 mixes that I burned to redbook CDs. Some are albums, some are singles. I know I am compliant enough for the mastering house to master and produce the glass master and to replicate my mixes to CD (Not CD-R). But will the mastering house produce the media necessary for the pressing plant's stampers? Or do I got to come up with the media? If so what am I suppose to use. The genre of music I record, mix and produce is still vinyl dependent for club promotion and exposure. Freaking DJs won't play CDs. Thanks guys. I apologize if there is a thread already started on this topic. I searched and didn't find anything relevant to me.

I listened to your songs. Great job on the drums by the way. Is the effect of the vocals being far away on some lines and up close on others intentional? As far as the musicians abilities: you are lucky to have a talented band to work with. Phone sex girlfriend could use a few more verses, IMHO. But I do like the Punk flavor. Nobody plays punk anymore :( Everything seems well recorded (I'm listening at work and we have a noisy air conditioner). Did you record and mix this all yourself? Great job if you did.

Just caught this post, but am about to hit the sack. Will reply tomorrow and will not speak in telegram sentences. :D

OK, here we go....

The songs at MySpace are from our demo CD. We were all in the same room when I recorded it. The vocal thing you're hearing is a combination of the muted live vox and the overdubbed ones, or possibly me not mixing it well. We're gearing up to record our songs "for real" soon.

Thanks for the compliments!
