Marshall V67 Spotted

I just got done watching a Vh1 special on Aerosmith, and I saw something mighty odd..... During some footage of the recording of "Jaded" I saw a funny looking, gold screened, green colored mic. On a second look at it during the session, I noticed that it was the all too familiar (and ugly as hell IMO) Marshall V67. Wonder how long until a Marshall Electronics employee spots that and you see Marshall ads that read............. " The V67 is good enought for Steven Tyler, so why isnt it good enough for you?? "....... Just an observation..

It may have been the multi-grand costing AKG C12VR that you saw. The V67G is very similar in appearance. Although, if it's recent, their sound man, Paul, has probably read my Marshall comments in rec.audio.pro. If it's a recent video, it may well be the V67G.

Yes, it was very recent. The footage was taken by the band while they were in the studio recording the new album. I was just a little taken back when I spotted it, because I figure that if they can have any mic that they want, why the Marshall?? Not that I dont think they are good mics, but really........ Is a brand new Mustang the same as driving a Lamborghini?? I think not...........My .02
