Marshall MG50-dfx price?

hey guys, so my buddy wants to get rid of his Marshall MG50-dfx and I'm wondering what would be a fair price for it...its about 4 or 5 years old, doesn't come with the footswitch or the powercord... its got the average wear of an amp its age (its got scratches here and there), the fan has already been replaced once with an unfortunately louder fix which I may want to replace with something quieter in the near future... It seems to have retailed somewhere around $500.00

What do you guys think?

hey mate, im also gonna have to say dont go for this amp for gods sake you will regret it majorly in the long. If i was you id save abit more money and get a tube amp. If not, you could pick up a orange tiny terror and run it through a 2x12 for only a little more money but you'd get such a better tone.

I already have a Vox VT-50 so I'm not going for this amp because I need one... although I see your guys point... If I can get it off of him really cheap though I may go for it... I'm thinking max $100...
 
Marshall MG, are you kidding? He should be paying you to take it off his hands, no joke.
