MarketPro Computer show... what to look for CHEAP!

there's a show in my area this sunday, and i was wondering what to look for. i know it's older stuff, but if i could get a comp for 200 bucks, that'd be sweet.

mainly :

motherboard?
chipset?

For older models....look for an ASUS CUSL2...814e chipset
Of course how old is old ?

I go to the Marketpro shows, too... but the thing is, how cheap is it if you shell out your cash to a dodgy weekend vendor and you get something that doesn't work????

For mobos and cpus, I'll go to somewhere that I can return a bum unit.
