maple ludwig classic drumkit for sale

I love the look of the kit.
I dont have a clue how much they are worth.
Any Ball Park Prices?

Honestly, I have no idea what these might be worth, and might be shooting myself in the foot by saying that. I know they are quite collectible and rare. I'm only parting with them to fund the purchase of a different drumkit. I don't want to go lower than $1k and was hoping for best offer above it.

So, it's not a bargain basement get rid of it price because I don't NEED to get rid of it, just would help me in out in the purchase of the new kit.

Let me know if anyone is interested.
 
Awww, I'm a ludwig fanatic, and hate to see people getting rid of Ludwigs. I notice you said you're getting rid of them because of the finish; you could always refinish them, you know? Ludwig Classics and Supers are excellent kits. I wish I had the money, I'd buy the kit from you just to have another laying around.
 
But I'm getting rid of it to replace with another Ludwig. Have only ever and only will play Ludwigs. :-)

I don't want to refinish because apparently the finish is worth quite a bit of money now since it's so rare. It's true other than the catalogue pic, I've never seen anyone else with a set of these.
 
as of this moment, they are still available. a few people interested though, but no final decisions. anyone?
 
really would rather not Ebay! Anyone going to follow through on an offer?

I don't know where else you have listed these but I would suggest www.ghostnote.net, it is a fairly placid and active drum forum and you may get some interest and/or advice there.
