Some here know my wife has been seriously ill for 6 months. We got the all cured word from the doctor on tuesday. She is up and running again! These days were hard ones, and I didn't have much time or inspiration to play/record. I am coming out of it. Here are some from friday. they all are with my new MIK tele, except Who am I to wonder (MIK Tokai copy of 335) Walter

Many rough days of living
trippin
so many lost
swinging on the tokai tele
who I am I wonder
nobody can stop suicide
man keeps ignoring nature

Walter,
Good to hear your voice & guitar again.
I'm glad the all clear has come through.
...Suicide is a dark little number but true neverthless.
A good opening slide on it too.
Welcome back, it's time to express what you've been living.

As always...killer tunes Walter.....the first one, Rough Days, has an awesome feel to it....love the crunchier tone you chose.....really gave it a nice vibe.

Sorry to hear about your wife, but glad it seems to be getting better.

Nice harp on Who Am I.....and a great riff.

Nice stuff man.... :D

thanks guys. Life is short. We learned that lesson well with this. I did some happier songs today. This recording thing is healing my tired soul. Walter

Walter you are a true original. I have always put value on being spontaneous.
I'm glad to learn that your wife is all cured . I believe that you are one of those guys who can literally "sing your troubles away" and I want you to be encouraged. You have a great gift man.

thanks chazba. Yes, playing does drive my troubled mind to rest. I really don't care if I ever make a living at music again. Just having a place to record in whenever I want, and a 1/2 dozen or so, local gigs a month, is pure heaven. It is funny how as I get older, I take these things, which would never have satified me in my youth, as pure gold. Walter
