male/female vocal mics

hello, i m using a shure sm58 for both male and female voice...it sounds prety good, i m just wondering if the sm58 is a good choice for recording males and females or would it be better to use two different mics? if so...do you have any recomendations?

If you think they sound pretty good then keep going with what you are doing. As soon as it stops sounding pretty good you can start the insane quest some of us are on and build your collection of 30 mics. Ya might want to try an entry level condenser like a CAD m177 or a ADK or a Marshall, read the sticky my man!
