Wats up people i'm new to this site but i'm just now startin to produce beats (jus moved down to South Carolina and don't know anybody who produces) and need some advice on producing good beats and opinions on what instruments you feel are best to use for some good down south gutta type bass and jus make a good beat

You'll need to give us some more information on yourself. :)

1) What is your budget?

2) What is your skill level?

3) What equipment do you already own, if any.

Whasup folk. You gotta do like spin said. We can help you if you tell us a little more about yourself. Welcome to the Forum!

welcome to the next level!!!

here is my take - if u wanna make some tite beats - regardless of style/region/type - check out other producers . . . see what dre uses (not to make beats) but check out the instrumentals of beats that dre made - peep out the instruments he uses . . . soemtime u gotta then cross reference cuz a what sounds like a flute might actually be a synth note - but still, u would be on teh right track

check out instrumentals -from the following:
lil john (which includes trillville, young blood, usher)
Grand Huslle (which includes T.I., YOung dro, )

well like i said, thats my 2 cents . . .
