Hustle Magic!! We Got It.
I know i have a pretty old drum machine...but i can make nice drum patterns with it now i just need to know how to put it into a song...if anyone used this machine before help me out...im tryin to get my drum pattern in the song part so i can added other patterns to it..

I use the dr-660 and Im tighter with it than most of these mpc users it aint what you got but what you do with it ...OK here we go................................First make your patterns for example beat #101 is your drums for your chorus (it has cowbell, wood block etc) beat #102 is for your verses( no cowbells woodblock ,just straight drum, snare and high hat) beat #103 is a variation of beat #102 (lets say you double up your snare, beat triple up your drums somthin like that ) beat #104 might be somthin different for your second verse so on and so on................OK..............now
you have to figure out where you want these patterns to go and in what order...for example lets say beat #101 is my beat for my chorus and its a 8 measure beat you press real/step and the display should read STEP press record then press start now using the fwd/bwd button specify where the pattern is to be entered and press enter and keep doing that until you complete the song.......................for example beat #101 if its 8 measures and i want it to play 16 times in a row and thats my chorus, you go to beat #101 and press ENTER then FWD ENTER then FWD 16 times then you go to your beat thats just for verses (#102 and figure out how many times you want it to play so on and so on... DUDE I KNOW THIS IS CONFUSING SO POST WHAT YOU DIDNT UNDERSTAND AND I"LL TRY TO HELP YOU OUT AIGHT..........-ONE-

im goin to give it a try...and i will get back to you
