Pinky

and The Brain...
This one I flew solo (did everything).

Really like having a legitimate bass now, and the cheap ibanez Tube Screamer petal gives me some serious tone too...

Check out Progression.

I suggest right-clicking and saving as my web host seems to be having some issues lately (bandwidth's flakey at best).

The voice came in kinda loud, lol.

I like what ya have there. Tasty tune.

kinda muddy recording - or too much overdrive; you should continue this!

cheers

You had an illegitimit Bass before! Shame on you! Has no one told you about birth control? Sheeeeeeeeesh!

This is a cool riff but I believe that ya have it way overcompressed trying to make it loud. Most likely that's where the mud is coming from.

Keep at it. I think this is going to be a  cool toon.

I agree with the voice comming in loud.

the guitar that comes in at about 1:00 is kind of unrecognizable, but that might be what you were trying to do..

This tune kind of freaked me out, it didnt sound like anything at first but it blew up into a great song. Good work.

Sounds like like you have some sort of odd percussion panned to the left at about 3:00.. it might be a delay or something on your bass but it sounds really cool.

I likes it.

Wish I could remix any portion of this, but after I exported the mixed wave from cakewalk (all the bass/guitar parts) it corrupted the bundle file

I have a backup of the non-EQ'ed bundle from the previous day, but unless there's a really good reason I guess it just aint worth re-mixing the master tracks again (originally this was a 6 minute long song and I trimmed a lot of excess, took over an hour to EQ and edit).

Anyway, thanks for what seem to be mostly positive things. I was going for the overdriven sound, I hate "clean" guitars (one of my least favorite tones of all instruments). I did, however, use a few cleaner sounding guitars on this to add to the 'pop' feel I was looking to achieve. I'm not sure about the muddiness... I guess I don't hear it. Played this in the car today and it sounded okay there. Sounds okay on my home stereo (which is also used for mixing/mastering).

cool song.. I like the bass.. "THAT VOICE COMES IN TOO LOUD." :)

the guitar sound is not great, and when everything gets big things get loose in the mix.. maybe it's the low end in the guitars.. not sure, but somethings wrong.. I really like the feel, but it needs a remix.. nice bass sound.. it sounds like you spread it pretty wide which can be good, but maybe not here..
