so far I have just been doing simply, single guitar solo recordings. I can just export these as .wav or mp3 without having to worry about mixing anything down, other than the left and right channel pans and levels.
I am about to venture into real multi tracks with like 4 guitars and a stereo vocal and all that.
So I can read up on this in the help sections, what do you call it in cakewalk when you make a mix of a song where track levels are raised and lowered in the song, and ultimately fade out, etc. - leaving the original multi track project intact.
Is that the steps? 1) set up an automated mix so the levels go up and down without my having to push all the levels all over the place manually. 2) bump that to somekind of mix that contains all that stuff. 3) bump that mix to .wav
Also, anyway to link two sliders together (particularly the left and right master?) so they will rise and fall in unison rather than having to move one and then the other for a lopsided effect?
