making a new studio

hello all, i want to get a pretty big board, and get rid of my firepod because i have a whole new space to work with now. so say i get a 24 channel board, my question is what do i need to rig this? what is the easiest/simplest/best interface to use for this to still get each track separate? ill be on a mac, using logic or protools if i end up getting hardware that it is compatible with.

if you go protools forget the M-audio M-powered stuff, they only support one interface at a time, as in Delta 1010 one instance..you're limited to 8in/8out

Saying that, the 1010 is a dinosaur

The motu 24i/o would be my next guess

I used to run a big board with three delta 1010's for 24i/o but that was a long long time ago. I've been firewire the past 6 months with the Yamaha N12
