Has anyone used any programs made my magix. I have been looking recently at the magix brand ..studio recorder pro (i believe that is the name) ..does anyone know anything about the quality/use of this program??

Samplitude

Magix currently distributes a program called Samplitude.

In my opinion it is the best pc based multitracking program on the market.

I have used others including Nuendo and Cubase and a nice Protools/Mac set up (very nice in its own regard)

But Samplitudes sound was better to my ears and its editing capabilites are second to none.

It is not real hot in the midi department from what i hear, although I havent had much use for midi as of yet. But the newest version(7.1) is supposed to be a bit better midi-wise.

good luck

I believe Studio Recorder Pro is a re-release, (or damn near close to it) of Samplitude Studio - the pre V6.0 release. I used it early on, and it's great. I believe I saw it in one of the computer/office supply stores for about $50. It retailed for close to $500 when it was first released as Samplitude Studio.

thanks for the help, i did download a copy of the demo of "n-track" but i'm not impressed, i have a nice system...and it just runs slow in my opinion..ha maybe my system isn't that great...acid doesn't give me much problems, bu ti'm not that big into loops...so i'm going to try what ya'll have suggested
