Hey everbody,
I just purchased magix deluxe and it came with the cd with like 1000 waves. Does magix have a file preview feature that I've overlooked??? I would like to import some of these files and it would sure help if there was a preview feature. The manual does not give any clues as to go about using the deluxe cd.

Thanks,

Great software but forget about the manual helping. In order to preview the wav file open up the Audio Studio. Go to File and the click Load Wav File. It will open a small window with an explorer like view. Click the box that say preview and everytime you click on a wav file it will play for you with actually having to open the file. This may sound confusing but once go to File you will see what I'm talking about.

Magix users

Good to know there are a few Magix users here.
It took me a while, but with help from Manning and others, and a lot of trial and error, I've gotten a pretty good handle on it.
My singer and I both use the 2004 deluxe version, though we have 2005 also.
I use Soundforge for their plug-ins. Hope to hear more from y'all either here or at the Magix forum...theUDE has helped me quite a bit there.
See ya!-J

jackson. billy nailed it.
you dont even have to open up audio studio. just click on a wave and regular windows media player or any other will play it.
because i got tired of ms's big media player i just programmed my own
simple one.
a BIG TIP. in audio studio really get a handle on the various handles
associated with a clip. individual clips can be raised or lowered in volume
by dragging the mouse. also notice the fade in/out handles on a clip.
also another BIG TIP. build your own custom reusable templates. if you want more info just ask. also in preferences remember to enable full duplex recording. VERY IMPORTANT. also each track has a setting for mono or stereo recording in audio studio. VERY IMPORTANT. click the track number ,
and when recording MONO tracks set the track property to MONO .
NOT STEREO. also really explore the superb mixer display.
ive got a hundred devious tricks i use with this great software.
if you want more info just ask as you get to learn it.
peace.
