I need to know, cause I'm loosing my mind googling and finding zero...

Is there an interface for a macbook that does not have mic pres? All I want are some analog outs for monitoring and spdif digital I/Os...

Is there anything like this???
 
Why don't you ask him, instead of getting all pissed off at him... I mean really what did he ever do... oh right... that thing... the seven days... yeah
 
From what I gather from searching around the net, is that macbooks/pros are popular for music making... I've also gathered that most home recordists choose to purchase nice external pre amps and what have you...

As it pertains to macbooks and the like... what's the point in having an interface with pres?

Is there not a basic interface for digital I/O and monitor outs??
