Mackie vs. Allen&Heath

I'm searching a mixer!
Which one if the two can you recommend?
The quality is priority!

I dont own a Mackie but i do have a Zed12fx. Its a great mixer. Great build quality and pretty good mic preamp. I like having faders. Its kinda hard to understand all the buttons and jacks on there and what it does. The manual doesnt explain very well. I just wish it has direct out but at sub-500 dollar i don't think you will find one.

Generally, the A+H's are preferred for quality. I have a Mackie (the ProFX line, which is a step below the VLZ) and have had zero issues with it in 6 years.
